Pathways to Recovery

Pathways to Recovery

Pathways provides culturally resonant fentanyl or overdose prevention services in the Fairbanks North Star Borough.

Pathways focuses on improving meth outcomes since it is the illegal substance primarily abused by the target population; we also want to reduce overdose deaths and deaths due to fentanyl.

Our Pathways Meth Counselor will provide treatment through break-out sessions in two FNA adult residential treatment units for opioid use disorder, co-occurring substance use disorder, and other use disorders.

We plan quarterly meth, overdose, and fentanyl prevention and education training in FNA residential units, for Behavioral Health Community Coalition agencies, and in the community.

Pathways will distribute 50 naloxone overdose kits and 100 fentanyl test strips per year.
