Hope for our Children

Hope for our Children

Youth struggling with depression, anxiety and trauma will find a safe and inviting place to get trauma informed and culturally resonant treatment.

FNA Behavioral Health Services is offering the Hope for our Children Day Treatment for youth ages 12-17 years old for mental health treatment. Alaska Native and American Indian youth at risk of or with a mental health diagnosis will benefit from small group therapy, individual sessions with a licensed therapist, and cultural activities. There will be time daily for students to complete schoolwork.

Day Treatment is short term care typically for youth stepping down from a higher level of care, or to avoid the need for a higher level of care. Services start with a referral, screening, mental health assessment and a treatment plan completed in concert with the youth, a clinician, family coordinator and the family of the youth.
Hours of operation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Participants will have the opportunity to continue outpatient services with FNA Behavioral Health Services after treatment.
